We are hiring a Medical Associate, based at Algiers, Algeria. The position reports to the Medical Director.

The Medical Associate works together with the medical team to assist in execution of all medical activities related to the medical department.

The local job grade for this role is Grade 3

Roles & Responsibilities

• Planning, Coordination and Execution of Medical Affairs Activities including but not limited to Event management, Coordination of speakers, Securing approvals (event roadmaps, HCP engagement local or cross-border approvals)
• Overseeing the medical budget allocated within each product to ensure each activity planned under medical affairs umbrella is executed to excellence within allocated budget
• Planning and coordinating internal trainings: on-boarding training of newcomers for Medical SOP trainings, system trainings and Medical compliance training
• To maintain record of all medical approvals, expenses, paid honoraria within the medical department in the assigned OPU.
• Collect feedback, reports and summary of all medical affairs activities conducted on monthly basis
• Ensure adequate archiving of all documentations related to the Medical Affairs Department in the assigned region
• Scout and suggest innovative e-programs and platforms for departmental function and therapeutic area development
• Ensure adherence to compliance and all SOPs upon execution of medical affairs activities
  
  

Requirements

• Graduate in Science/Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical sciences; fresh graduates are welcome
• Good understanding of local pharmaceutical laws and regulation
• Business fluent in French & Arabic in its oral and written form
• Business fluent in English in its oral and written form is a must
• Good presentation and computer skills with expertise in literature identification and evaluation
• Advanced Organizational and communication skills
• Highly motivated & agile
• Project management skills
• Proactive and assertive attitude
