Quality Control Engineer

Thabat Construction Company is providing job openings for the central and western region as below: Job Titles: QC Mechanical engineer QC Civil engineer Responsibilities Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets the required qualities Inspect the production quality to establish if the client requirements are being achieved Review quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and collaborate with departments for maintain a quality of materials Attend all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) Shall perform various inspections Checks and reviews the plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site Inspect materials using gauges, calipers and micrometers as well as operating electronic inspection equipment to ensure that all necessary procedures and products are inspected to a high standard Prepare reports for the quality manager of the company to highlight issues, detail the number of defective products being produced, and explain where improvements can be made Review the calibration status of any test equipment being utilized on the project ensuring the equipment is within calibration prior to use Orderly collect, check and manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspection carried out witnessing the test, controls and inspections carried out Check the conformity with the quality control plan and obtain the relevant information Check the documents certifying the tests, controls and inspection carried out Maintain standards of safety and comply with company HSE Management system Follow and maintain company standards of quality in accordance with company quality system requirements Qualifications & Skills Engineering Degree. Minimum 2 years’ experience. Set up and monitored quality system including quality control procedures. Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office.
