Position Overview: The candidate will be responsible contacts patients that are eligible for enrollment and provides necessary wellness coaching to reduce or eliminate high-risk behaviors; encourages adoption of habits that are conducive to a higher quality of life; helps IQVIA’s patients to coordinate medical care and understand any medical conditions they might have; provides primarily face-to-face coaching, counseling, consultation and referral services to manage various chronic health conditions, and lifestyle behavior change; provides feedback and is involved in problem solving issues related to improved navigation through the healthcare system; and coordinates services with health coach team. The candidate will take management responsibility for timely follow-up with patients and relevant stakeholders for the flawless implementation of all IQVIA’s patient support program. Responsibilities: Provides primarily face-to-face program orientation meetings for program stakeholders. (meetings could be outside Cairo in different Egypt governorates) Welcoming the patients who are willing to be enrolled in IQVIA’s program with consenting them and introduce them to the related program to their disease. Inform patients by explaining procedures; answering questions; providing information. Initiate follow up calls regularly with the patients based on the adherence level to motivate them to stick to the medications prescribed by the physician and reach the optimum treatment strategy. Maintains communication and quality of the program by reporting problems either adverse events related to the products or quality technical complaints accompanied by using the devices. Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommending improved procedures. Acting as an interface between the field care coaches and the patients in arranging patients’ meetings or visits. Capable of instructing others to provide them with a healthier way of life. Provides necessary coaching to reduce or eliminate behaviors that are considered high-risk. Handling and educating patients on treatment related devices that facilitate treating process. Register new patients on the platform specialized for the program. Submitting all patients’ complaints weather adverse event or quality complaints accompanied by assigned products of the program. Develops care plans that are custom-tailored to individual patients. Timely and accurate response to patient needs and inquiries, ensuring assistance within the required approved script. Requirements: Workload balance between field work and office work (20% field & 80% office) Knowledge of health-related diseases with medical background. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong motivational, convincing power and problem-solving skills. Ability to counsel clients of all ages, cultures and educational level. Solid experience in variety of clinical techniques and medical field Immense ability to develop a health plan A well organized and pleasing personality with self-confidence. Knowledge of latest trends in health care. Strong understanding of patient support programs in the life science industry. Good team-based interpersonal skills but also an ability to work independently. This individual must be highly motivated, energetic, and have the desire to immerse themselves in the patients’ culture of wellness and support this culture.
