Ward Administrator Band 3 Jubilee ward at Upton Hospital, Slough SL1 2BJ
An exciting opportunity has arisen for our community ward based in Slough for an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic band 3 ward administrator for a full-time post (37.5hrs) Regular shift pattern of 0800 to 1600 Monday to Friday
To provide reception service for patients or relatives arriving on the ward and welcoming visitors and directing as appropriate.
The role includes answering telephones, chasing and booking transport for outpatient appointments, complete daily data spreadsheets and to provide a confidential and high standard general administrative support to the ward/unit, to ensure that all patient admissions, discharges and attendances are recorded accurately the relevant electronic system in real time, to sort out incoming/outgoing post and distribute or act as necessary and any other ward clerking responsibilities.
We are looking for dynamic and motivated team player with effective computer and communication skills, a flexible approach, and an ability to work independently under pressure.
