As a Sr. Android Engineer, you’re a highly detail-oriented individual with great problem-solving skills and solid experience in native mobile apps development with Android. You will be the reason thousands of people will go to work across the world everyday using the wonderful piece of technology that you built!
This job is for you if you are keen to see how to build a product and scale it from the ground up. You'd be working among your talented peers in a squad that gives you the exposure to communicate between the team and design solutions that stick with our users and scale across our regions.
What will you do?
- Working with the engineering and product team, developing our products in an agile and lean manner.
- Developing high-quality customer-facing UI design, animation, and great user experience for our apps.
- Developing high-quality solutions with clean code to launch our continuous stream of user stories.
- Writing clean code, unit tests, and optimizing app performance.
- Ensure our apps are up-to-date with the latest technologies.

- 3+ years of experience in Android application development with extensive experience in Kotlin, collections, and well-known application frameworks
- Strong understanding of memory management, network programming, concurrency, and multithreading.
- Experience in Android-specific application development and publishing to the Playstore and handling app rejections and related issues.
- Good understanding of design patterns, latest frameworks including Lambda expressions, Dependency Injection (DI), MVVM architecture
- Experience in working with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Experience in testing frameworks like Robolectric, and Espresso
- A strong and innovative approach to problem-solving and finding solutions. Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
- Communication is the key, candidate must have excellent English communications skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to challenge yourself against the deadlines
