IIQAF is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide support to individuals who are unable to manage daily tasks without assistance. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and have experience and a commitment to providing excellent, empathetic care to our members.
Responsibilities

- Help members with daily activities, including bathing, dressing and meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the care of members
- Assist with transfers and positioning of members
- Accompany members to medical appointments
- Maintain professional boundaries in working with members and colleagues
- Ensure that all safety protocols are adhered to
- Maintain records regarding care services provided
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with members
- Previous experience working as a Personal Care Assistant
- Demonstrated commitment to helping others
- Ability to develop strong relationships with members and colleagues
- Sound knowledge of safety protocols and home care procedures
- Ability to lift and move members as necessary
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Training or certification in CPR and First Aid a plus
