The Arabic Editor will be responsible for connecting the brands to customers through creative content across multiple mediums including, but not limited to: video, TV, radio, websites, banner ads, social messaging, print collateral, direct mail and creative briefs. The Arabic Editor will collaborate with the PR team to develop, produce, and deliver work for external and internal marketing needs that ensures the company’s high creative standards are reflected in all finished projects. Responsibilities Draft original Arabic copy based on client briefs be it press releases, social calendars, or other related materials Translate copy from English into Arabic and vice versa Collaborate with the team to develop, produce, and deliver projects for the company Turn around deliverables of quality work quickly and efficiently Localize and not just translate content especially creative concepts Contribute to campaign ideation offering a regional perspective Take the initiative and work with the team and be prepared to work long hours to meet tight deadlines when needed Ideal Candidates Possess The Following Qualities Strong written and verbal communication skills (both English and Arabic), with a focus on quick response time Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills Adaptability; able to succeed in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment Requirements Of This Position Include Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience Minimum of 5 years’ experience in creative copywriting including journalistic experience Solid portfolio of previous of copy and translation samples Strong time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced corporate environment. Candidate must have understanding of the Public Relations industry Ability to handle multiple projects at different stages of completion. Strong command of language and communication skills.
