RESPONSIBILITIES: You will work with the Global Marketing Lead for the practice and with global marketing colleagues to plan, manage and deliver key marketing initiatives for the Expert Services practice across EMEA. The role will include: Planning and managing events (virtual and in person) from project planning to post-event follow-up, supported by the wider team. Analyzing and recommending strategic sponsorships that will help to raise our brand profile and the profile of our experts; negotiating sponsorship benefits, providing collateral, supporting Kroll’s speakers and drafting social media and other promotional communications. Writing and editing emails as part of event and other marketing campaigns and working with the email marketing team to produce announcements, newsletters and event invitations. Drafting and creating marketing collateral for the practice and working with the internal creative services team on production. Occasionally assisting other service lines with their local events. Working with the Global Marketing Lead to support business development initiatives for target regions and service offerings, including attending internal meetings, providing collateral and helping to track activities using our CRM system. Providing business development guidance to junior client-facing staff on regular group calls and one-on-one. Assisting with creating presentations for high-value pursuits, working within Kroll’s PowerPoint template and branding guidelines. Ensuring consistency in branding on all marketing materials and assets. Working with the social media team to create social media content. Using our CRM system to support marketing campaigns. Coordinating and project managing smaller marketing and business development projects. REQUIREMENTS: Marketing/communications professional with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience Bachelor’s degree Experience in marketing for professional services is preferred and experience in marketing for an expert firm is desirable An enthusiastic, proactive, ‘hands on’ and ‘can do’ approach to tackling projects and new challenges and a willingness to learn new things Project management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines accurately and systematically Strong interpersonal skills to interact and engage with all role levels across our global business and external contacts including clients and suppliers Good research and analysis skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay engaged during repetitive tasks Data entry/extraction knowledge and experience Ability to apply your existing knowledge to new situations and the confidence to solve problems and make suggestions to improve existing systems and processes Flexibility to work on early morning breakfast seminars and evening events Occasional travel within Europe Preferable but not required: French, Italian or Spanish language Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities Experience working with diverse teams Personal Attributes: Well presented with a professional approach A keen interest in developing a career in marketing Flexible and a hardworking team player Confident, enthusiastic, self-motivated Fluency in French, Spanish or Italian desirable In order to be considered for a position, you must formally apply via careers.kroll.com.
