Civil and Building Supervisor

About The Role As a Civil and Building Supervisor, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition: You will lead the labour team and technicians with all outsourced vendors to undertake all minor projects as well as supervision of new minor project works which includes inputs on design and site supervision. To assist with the review/assessment of contractor proposals, method statements, material submittals. To supervise works and to ensure they are carried out in a timely and safe manner so as not to hinder the airport operations. You are required to carry out site inspections of newly completed projects and to generate snags/punch lists and to follow-up with the rectification works. To monitor staff movement and ensure works are completed timeously. To ensure all equipment's (tools, metering equipment's) are in proper operational order. Responsible for the ordering of all required spare parts and their availability at all times. Conduct inspection of all equipment's and facilities and to generate inspection report on a regular basis as stipulated by management and Engineers Qualifications About you: Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification or equivalent. Minimum 3 years job-related experience pertaining to Airfield pavement and Civil Infrastructure maintenance in Commercial operational airport. Minimum 2 years of work experience in Supervisory level in Airfield pavement maintenance on construction works. Good understanding of ICAO Annex and FAA Must have high proficiency in written and spoken English, with an excellent capability in written technical skills, and liaison skills. Ability to plan and execute time management skills. Ability to prepare MS, RAMS, reports Ability to use all aspects of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and associated software. Able to prepare snagging lists. Awareness of airport operational restraints. Valid Qatar/GCC Driving license is a must.
