Our client is a leading plastics and steel manufacturing company, based locally in one of Rotorua's key industrial areas. Mainly servicing the transport and forestry industries, they are currently seeking a Sales Administrator to join their busy and dynamic team.
The Office Administrator will be responsible for taking of sales orders, keeping the customer updated right through to when their order is dispatched. You will be the first point of call for all orders and customer enquiries, reacting quickly and accurately ensuring orders are pushed through to the production and dispatch teams promptly. Communication is key, ensuring that you are providing fast and accurate details to the production and dispatch teams and accurately advising your customers in return. It is essential that you build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers alike. In this role, you will also be required to carry out an array of administrative tasks, as and when required, across the business.

Key requirements;
- Previous experience in a customer orientated sales or logistics role
- Computer literacy is a must; experience with EXO will be advantageous, alternatively any other job costing software platform essential, including the Microsoft suite of applications
- Quick thinking, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Strict attention to detail and a highly organised and motivated individual
- Experience working within engineering/workshop industries advantageous
