- To answer questions, handle complaints, and troubleshoot problems in a timely manner and direct caller to appropriate department - if any
- To ensure efficient communication within to and from the hotel while maintaining attentive courteous and efficient customer service
- To deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
- To respond promptly to customer enquiries
- To obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
- To process orders, forms, applications, and requests
- To direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated department
- To manage guest’s accounts
- To maintain records of customer interactions and transactions
- To record details of enquiries, comments, and complaints
- To record details of actions taken
- To ensure customer databases are up to date
- Previous hotel experience in a similar role
- Passionate, motivated with exceptional customer care skills
- Able to respond effectively to customer complaints ensuring the necessary information is given to the right people
- Well organised, adaptable and flexible to work varied hours
- Previous experience within a fast paced environment
- Working knowledge of Opera and OpenTable systems preferred
- Good level of written and spoken English
