· Hands on with 2-3 renowned Data Center Sites Implementation
5+ years experience working in data center operations or a related field
· To establish framework for end-to-end data center development including but not limited to:
HVAC Planning and Execution
Network Engineering, including Installing fiber and copper cross connects for routers, switches, network and SAN connections to servers and storage
Telecom Engineering, including Telco, SIP, E1 etc. connections establishment
Installing and configuring new servers, storage devices, routers, switches, and network devices
Excellent monitoring and troubleshooting for malfunctions or failures of entire data center
Conducting capacity assessments of existing infrastructure to support future growth
Maintaining detailed documentation of entire configurations and changes history tracking
Performing regular backups of data to prevent loss in case of computer failure or theft
Providing technical support for applications and operating systems used in the data center
Perform Perl, bash, and shell scripting to build automated data center environment
Monitoring energy usage across the data center to ensure efficient operation
Conducting environmental and air quality tests to ensure compliance with federal regulations
Maintain the data center physical infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security systems
Hands on data center expansion, such as installing new racks or cable management systems
Zero Downtime Patching
Security and Access Control equipment and systems
Datacenter Facilities management including electrical, mechanical, network and computational
Site reliability and building properties
· Hands on with Project planning, scope, requirements, timelines, costing and budgeting
· Excellent in preparing Technical Architecture and Design Documents, workflows, SOPs
· VMWare Virtualization, Cloud Computing: AWS, Azure or GCP etc.
· Strong with authentication frameworks like SSO for OAuth (App), SAML (user), AWS IAM etc.
· Create IP ranges and create or edit internal/external DNS using BlueCat IPAM
· Set up DNS, DHCP and GPO's and other domain services
· Set up DHCP scopes, TCP/IP (IP address reservations) etc.
· Assist with the design of cloud services internal and external collateral
· Provide 24/7 on-call support as needed
Experience
Strong in:
· Data Center Operational System and Support (OSS)
Risk, Disaster and Contingency assessment and management
Vendor Management
Customer Experience
Incident Management and Support
· Perform daily, weekly, monthly inspections of infrastructure supporting data center operations
· Manage work orders and history via Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
· Assist other IT operations with installation and troubleshooting of routers, circuits, landlines, E1
· Ensure all equipment is labeled and record keeping in compliance with Data Center Labeling Standard. ANSI/TIA-606-B establishment for telecommunications and network systems
· Second and Third Shift Operations role administration
Desired with:
· KSA local data center establishment experience with renowned cloud service providers (CSPs)
· Data Center Infrastructure and Support Automation
· Experience in presenting technical information to non-technical audiences
Good to Have:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Good Interpersonal and Presentation skills
Qualifications
· Bachelor or master’s in Computer/Telecom/Electrical Engineering
Certifications:
· List any licenses or certifications required by the position: CCNP, CCNA, II, IAT, VCP, ITIL, CFC, CCIE, MCSE, APS
