TheOtherDada is a highly innovative social business combining regenerative architecture, consultancy and afforestation. Through these three areas, we implement strategies that improve our environment and serve as catalysts for social change. Our practice strives to create a significant positive impact, ambitiously moving the world from EGO to ECO.
We carefully explore the natural ecosystems of sites in order to devise new, innovative and sustainable living habitats – fueled by the power of biomimicry: emulating nature to devise solutions for human challenges.
We are a small yet international and diverse team following new and innovative approaches to management and program design: This includes flat hierarchies, a high level of transparency, and investing in the learning and self-expression of our team members.
Tasks
We recently went through a rebranding process of our afforestation wing. We are now searching for someone who can turn this baseline into practical kits for other team members to use - from our Social Media officer all the way to reporting and presentations. More specifically, we are looking for someone to:
Create nature-themed graphics and illustrations according to our graphic & illustration style
Finalize our logo
Design missing social media elements (grids, icons)
Design poster / print templates
Design signage for our forests
Develop templates for reports
Review and update our website
Review our social media strategy, develop guidelines for posts
Train our social media officer in InDesign / Illustrator where needed

What we expect from you
Current student of / holding a degree in Graphic Design or a related design course
Interest in creating an impact, intrinsic motivation to support our work
Ability to self-organize and work independently as well as in a team
Proactive attitude, willingness to take responsibility over one’s own work and experience
Plus point: Background in sustainability, eco-friendly design practices, Biomimicry
